World of Tanks Xbox 360 Preview

World of Tanks is coming soon to the Xbox 360 and is a perfect chance for anyone who wants to get in on what is a great game.

If you are not up to speed on what World of Tanks is, then here is a quick refresher. World of Tanks lets you control some of histories greatest machines of war and pit them against others in large scale open warfare. Matches can support multiple players and game modes, but the end objective is the same. Win by any means.

Bringing the game to the Xbox 360 is a smart decision, and one that will work in Wargaming's favor. The controls are much easier to learn this time then on PC, and as the game has had a chance to grow for a few years on PC most of the issues are sorted out. I did notice some lag spikes while playing, but as it was a beta, that is to be expected. Hopefully they are not in the final version.

If you are keen to give World of Tanks ago, but either don't own a PC or do not want to throw yourselves at the mercy of the really experienced PC players, then the 360 edition is just right for you. Not only do you get a superb game, but with much tighter controls and richer content.

With the game finishing beta soon, you will not have to wait too much longer.
