HD Remakes: Blessing or Bore?

So the other week the Ratchet and Clank games from PS2 got their HD re-release on PS3, and while i dont mind companies doing this, it seems most of sony's games of late have been hd collections. But either way, the team from IGN Australia have put together a good little article about the pro's and con's.



One of the biggest trends in games over the last few years has been the HD remake phenomenon. Bringing games from previous generations back with high resolution visuals and other modern bells and whistles sounds like a great way to celebrate gaming past, but not everyone sees it that way.
